Working Out at Celebrity Fitness

By now most of you know that Liana was eliminated last week. Well, luckily I was able to see her for the last time during my task to cover the shoot at Celebrity Fitness, Bangsar Village II.

The crew and I arrived quite early and were waiting for the girls. Alas about half an hour of waiting, finally the girls were here for the their 1 hour of yoga session and 1 hour of cardio work out. The studio that they will be using was still occupied by a class, so we still have to wait about 15 minutes more. -_-

They were each given a padlock for the locker but a few of them wants to share a locker instead. So, only 3 padlocks out of 9 were used, I think.

The studio was then ready for the Malaysian Dreamgirl, and the girls started their first yoga lesson. Almost all the girls did not have yoga lesson before, so the instructor had to start with something easy first. Of course, the warming up usually starts with ‘The Sun Salutation’, which is a combination of a few asanas (poses) in one flow.

Starts easy.

I know I will have difficulty doing this pose.

The Tree asana. I do this quite often.

The Warrior I. Good for strengthening the legs and balancing.

After a few more individual asanas, the girls were then paired up to do partner yoga.

Dawn was paired up with the instructor because there were 9 girls, which is an odd number lol. From here, I can see that Dawn is the most flexible maybe because she did ballet and pilates before.

Pairing up with the instructor is the most stringent.

Because you can be like this if you’re paired with the instructor.
There were nine girls, so the instructor decided to break them into groups of three and do the ‘Flower’.

Seems like fun.

For this pose, the person above will do the Table and the person below will bend forward.

But the instructor folded all the way that he has to asked Dawn to straighten her legs instead of doing the Table because the Table can’t really push him down anymore. Sweat!
After about 50 minutes of almost impossible stretching and poses. It’s time to relax and do a meditation pose. If not mistaken, this pose is called ‘The Corpse’.

Ah, so relaxing. This is one of my favourite asana.
After the yoga session, the girls went down stair to continue with their cardio work out. Dawn, Natasha and Shasya were asked by Jerad to stay in the studio for interviews.

After the interview session, Dawn, Natasha and Shasya then went to down stair to join the other girls on the cardio work out.

The girls then went shopping after cleaning up. I bumped into them again when I was having lunch in Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa outlet in Bangsar. They went to Nirvana Maju to have theirs. If I hadn’t order my nasi lemak, I would have joined them. T_T
