Happy Labour Day! Wow…it’s been a while since I blogged. Hmm…let’s see where I should begin…First of all since Che (Alicia) mentioned that she enjoyed reading the blog so I shall dedicate this blog post for you. haha! Seriously, I was quite lazy to blog but when I thought of what you said on the phone I decided to update everyone. Sorry didn’t get to talk long that day coz the camera was rolling and I had only about an hour and a half at home. But I’m glad you called :)
I guess by now you would have seen the homecoming episode. It was fun and I’m so happy to see all of you. Lots of thanks to Aunty Maggie for coming over just to see me. Also Bea Che, thanks for taking leave from work and arranging my pictures. I’m SO HAPPY to see you! Wouldn’t be the same without you there :) Thank you Damian for everything. The flowers too! Though I didn’t have time to admire them longer ;). Of course, most of all not forgetting MOM for taking the extra effort to prepare lunch for me. Though I didn’t get to really eat as much as I’d like to, I really appreciate it. THANK YOU MA! Been a LONG time since I’ve had home soup. ALSO, for decorating my room and making sure everything looks beautiful. Thanks PA for preparing the pictures and taking the extra time from your super busy days to paint outside :)
Thank you ALL of you, family, relatives, friends/fans for supporting me to this stage. Hope to see you all at the Grand Finale at The Curve on the 15th of May 2009.
This morning we went out for breakfast and then headed to One Utama for X-men. It was good. Never thought I’d like this kinda movies (the fake fake and robotic kinda movies). hehe. Later we went shopping around. Helped Pinky picked out a few stuffs. AND THEN my favourite part. hehe..Went for ‘lunch’ at 4pm. I was famished. It’s been a LONG time since Zan Mai. Ooopps…shhh…don’t tell Damian. :p
I realized that I never overspent my weekly allowance on anything but food..hmm…well, eating makes me happy :) OH talking bout food, the program manager’s mother just came down from Kuantan bringing him some ‘chung’ (the sticky triangle pulut rice wrapped in banana leave), and he nice enough to share some with us. So it’s in the fridge! Can’t wait to eat it for brunch tomorrow! :) Apparently his mom said there’s ‘hou si’ (er…I think it’s mussels or oyster) inside…cool…usually those I have does not have that ingredient. She said it’s the cantonese style ‘chung’. Those I usually have are hakka if I’m right. Hakka ones have pork, beans and salted egg yolk…mmmm…yummy..:p
Yesterday had a photo challenge at the Kids Sports and Gym at Bangsar Village. I had fun! As usual did my best for the shoot and I totally enjoyed the process. My concept was about life and it’s ups and downs. It’s themed Miss Incredible. Basically I thought it’s incredible that everything that goes up must come down. But it’s even more incredible that when we fall, we have the choice of standing up again. Standing up again is a success but by first making that choice is truly incredible. All in all, one word FUN. You know why? haha! Coz I’m a kid a heart and I actually went climbing around a bit while waiting for the rest to finish shooting. muahahah!
OK I think that’s about it…Pinky’s gonna help paint my nails nice nice now =) Oh! Monday gonna have a photoshoot EARLY in the morning. Must be interesting. Can’t wait! Then it’d be Tuesday! Whew…ok don’t wanna think bout it. Remember to vote k. Only to the extend that you all can afford. Just so you know I appreciate EVERY single vote from you all. LOVE YOU ALL! Ma, tell guakong to get well soon and thank him for his support. Oh hope you all like the card. HUGS…=)

i am sorry i like dawn’s personality and from the way she is portrayed in the show, she looks like a very good friend and mature too.

She doesn’t have to be a model. Think being in the top 3 will give her opportunity to go into hosting/variety prog.
Maybe in Canto/Mandarin though, her English is quite silted. Might need to put marbles in her mouth and chant “The rains in spain never falls on the plains.” =)

Plslah, Dawn isn’t so perfect. Agree with MDG Fan that you see the bitchy side of her in the latest video. Definately not suited to be a model, more of an actress but that’s about it..her English isn’t good enough unless if she makes an effort to improve it.

Dawn is ugly. Not model material - face too short round, receding chin, bulb of a nose, eyes bulge out, thick lips, cheekbones too protruding.
Her voice is lousy, sounds stale like some Chinese aunty who woke up in the morning. Her diction and pronunciation is sloppy. The words just tumble out in a wishy washy manner. On top of that her frequent use of “lah” and that high pitch and giggly manner. Yuks!
So fake and bitchy, trying to smile and look easygoing, but the fierce, scheming eyes tell it all. She could eat you up without you suspecting.
She’s spoilt and bossy too. Looks like she needs Damian more than he needs her.
Just another tomboy and tranvestite kidding herself that she’s feminine and sexy. Ha! Ha! Ha! Another of those typical ugly Chinese girls who enter beauty contests, model searches or appear in Malaysian advertisements. No standard.

Juanita is another lousy looking specimen. Looks like a transvestite, trying so hard in sexy clothes. Thick lips, no chin, eyes that lack confidence and are shifty at times. Thin stick-like calves, typical Indian legs.
Talks with annoying whine, nasal sound, like she’s complaining in Tamil. Trying to fake innocence, but she actually bad-mouthed Natasha. Typical two-headed snake and liar. She tries to get others in trouble to improve her chances.
She also has something to hide. Is ashamed of her flat/background, dares not show the rest of her flat or bedroom if any.
She should stick to an office job, and stay away from magazine covers, etc. unless she wants to portray a transvestite.

Dawn you are actually so stupid. FYI, the leaves used to wrap glutinous rice dumplings are bamboo leaves and not banana leaves as what you wrote in your fifth paragraph.
Banana leaves are what they use for serving nasi lemak and rice in banana leaf restaurants. How pathetic, call yourself a graduate.
I guess you only notice and know one type of banana and have not actually noticed a banana tree, which is so common in Malaysia. Go open your bulgy pop-out eyes further.

Juanita - here’s my advice to you. Go for a sex change before you become so thick-skinned as to consider another model search, and similar competitions. Better still, go finish your accounting course and leave modelling to real, pretty,
feminine and sexy girls.

BTW, just a few words on Ming who should have been booted out long ago.
Her eyes are so tiny and she need so much eyeliner and mascara.
Her mouth looks like it’s good for sucking something. Her teeth are too big. She is short and has fat upper arms and legs.
Ming looked like a transvestite too. Also like a nyonya/opera mix with the thick eye makeup and pasty foundation.
Her speech is so sloppy. No substance, just wishy-washy and full of “lahs”.

Judge, are you taking a piss or what? What’s wrong with using the unique word “lah”? They were all Malaysians and the that’s how normally we spoke. Besides, I’d forgive you if you’re not a Malaysian but stop castigating all the 3 contestants. They’re all brilliant to have made into top 3. No one is perfect as perfection only limits ourselves from moving forward. And also, you seems to have problems with their physical appearance and it’s a shame that people like you do existed in this world. So, here’s my advice, stop taking a piss and being a complete tosser. Cheers~

And if contestants and their relatives and friends can’t take criticism, don’t join such contests, as people are bound to comment whether positively or negatively.
