I Spy With My Little Eye… Three is the Magic Number

I said it once and I’ll say it again. I love reality. R-E-A-L.
We’re there. At the end of the road of Malaysian Dreamgirl Season 2. Two and a half months ago, if you asked these girls if they thought they could call themselves models, the answer probably would have been no. We’ve had ups, we’ve had downs. We’ve had laughter, we’ve had tears. We’ve had screaming matches and we’ve had hugging, kissing and making up. All in the space of two and a half months. And, most importantly, we’ve had some bloody good modeling!
THREE IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
The girls that have made it to the top three have undergone dramatic transformations. They’ve had to endure rigorous exercise routines, early mornings and long hours. The life of a model is not easy, and we can see that it has taken its toll on all three still standing.

As a Model: Ever the composed
Her last two photoshoots have proved that Juanita is good, but is she good enough? I find her photos a little dull, and it looks like she only has one expression. She also tends to look a little stiff, like she’s trying a bit too hard to hold the pose.
A lot of work needed. I wonder if her catwalk has improved since the fashion show at Mist Club. All I saw that night was shoulders, shoulders and more shoulders swinging.
As a person: Childlike and Simple
“Hey hey! I just got back to the studio from gym! No classes today so I did about 45mins of cardio plus ab crunches. hehe… We then had banana leaf rice at Devi’s which was pretty good compared to the usual place.”
Hmm… Banana Leaf Rice? More like just the banana leaf dear. Is that all you’ve been eating recently? Because incredible Dawn looks more like Skeletor Dawn. Too many bones on show for my liking.
As a model: Ever the consistent
Dawn is apparently very easy to work with. Jimmy likes her, Julie likes her, and they say she takes instructions well. I’m still not quite sure about her face though, and sometimes when I look at her photos I see a very plain bowl of soup, lacking flavour and spice.
She’s more Walls Vanilla to me than Ben & Jerry’s Rocky Road, and I’m not sure if that’s something she will be able to change as time goes on.

As a model: The boy has a point.
Pinky’s photo is the best out of the three, as most of her photos have been. She has been consistently good, if not getting better. I do think that she looks a little tired in her photo, and even more so when Julie sits her down and tells her what she did.
As a person: Pinky the Saint VS Pinky the Drunk

Hmm… I’m torn between how she should act and how much fun she should have. But at the end of the day, I guess Cyndi Lauper was right. Girls just wanna have fun! Forget the video. Look at her photos.
She deserves to win.
So we are down to the final three. Pinky, Dawn and Juanita. I know who I want to win. Do you?

Don’t know about y’all but throughout the two months of the comments here, i am starting to get immune to bashing and flaming. Negative things about one of my closer university mates used to upset me. But now… just takin it with a pinch of salt
Hey maybe some salt will make the soup taste better ?
At least we know Dawn ain’t full of AGINOMOTO! Yes, i am implying that one of the other contestants is fake!

I was just wondering where did all Juanita fans/friends went to? They seem to have died down after all my efforts to blow Juanita out of proportion? This is such a let down. Maybe i should flame Juanita again to make things more happening?
On a side note, there was one comment that was commented in my name. But thats in another post. Seems like it could be judge himself/herself who tried to back himself up using my alias as that comment agreed to judge’s comments. But i cant really be bothered.
Now i am just pissed that no one is having much of a say about Juanita? This is outrageous! After all the effort i put in its simply disappointing.

This is totally off-topic to what this blog entry is about but I noticed that the date the next video will be out is on 17th of May. Can the producer expedite the uploading of the video please? Cause I’m overseas and I can’t go to The Curve so help us, overseas fans, please. Cause I think we will be dying to watch the video of the finale as soon as possible. Thank you!

The pic of Juanita with Ricardo…i think they both look alike except that ricardo only have 1 head. shHHhHhhh…

Dear Timmak, it seems that Juanita’s fans really has gone silent and has not replied me yet. Not even Even Sicker of Juanita Hater has reappeared. Kinda disappointing.
But like you said, they might be busy going out to the streets of Johor promoting/selling Juanita like she is a piece of flesh. And please note that i said maybe, because i could never possibly know what you Juanita fans/friends/relatives/family are really doing. Times are bad and any restaurant/mamak would love to have a celebrity visit their eatery in order to draw in a bigger crowd. So it comes to no surprise if Juanita is being sold like hot cakes without anyone really buying it. Who knows, i might be totally wrong about this. Then again, this is a reality tv show based on popularity votes.
So anyone out there, who may possibly want to be Juanita’s sugar daddy, be like Cindy’s (from MDG1) father and vote to an amount where you can buy at least 3 to 4 motorbikes and of course makeself known here. Im sure she would be really “THANKING YOU” for it (which i reckon would/could be a far more personal thank you). But hey i might be wrong on this too.
So brace yourself Juanita fans/friends/relatives/family. I shall help blow Juanita out of proportion again by laying out line by line opinions of Juanita in the latest post on this blog. It shall be like a pre-finale lay out of Juanita in an all around overview from my eyes and perspective. So i shall be back.

Hi hate juanita and timmak, ive been reading what u hav been writing the last days and im not a juanita fan but why all of a sudden are you commenting on others ie (family and friends) than juanita herself now? i can have a good laugh at some things but start to get onto others (they cant help being family)they may take it personally…… i dunno just a thought? just be careful.

I want Dawn to win! :D Though i think chances are low, since she has been in Bottom 3 for consecutive weeks now. Doesn’t matter though, since it’s not for certain that winner will be the most successful of the lot! :D I want to see more of her in future… can’t believe this is the end of MDG2 already :(

Lin Lu…thanks for the advise. actually i have nothing against Juanita’s family as is not their fault that she is a back stabber and pretender (or maybe not). hehe.. there is nothing personal about me hating Juanita too the max as i dont even know her in real life. i just dont like people who back stab and be so fake to get ahead of something.
as for Juanita’s fan or friends (probably the same people)…actually i dont hate them too. is just that everytime we say about Juanita, than they will start calling the anti J fans names and blaming us for being Racist..i really have no intention of making it a racist issue and i was just telling how i feel what she is and how she looks like…especially the one with the snake pic.

I will support for Pinky or Dawn!! After watching all the episodes, it’s true that Juanita is using the same poses and expressions in almost any photoshoot! Can she deal with INTERNATIONAL standard photoshoots?
Sorry, for Juanita’s fans out there. The answer is NO. NONONONONONO. Knock that in your heads. She wouldn’t survive.

unfortunetly when different cultures live all in one country they can be sensitve to comment even when its about the acual person/personality they will think its all about because of your race. :(

Juanita has got such a bad attitude. Always being so defensive about her ‘possible wrongdoings’ annoys the shits out of me. Constantly directing the blame at other girls and making them look bad up until this point of the competition does nothing good for her. She’s too artificial.

Go Juanita go! You can ignore all of the haters. But deep down, you know what we say is true, and its like a sharp knife stabbing your heart. And dear dreena, i do hope you advice Juanita more, because your advice is the bomb! I totally agree and condone the advice 150%. You are really smart the way you think dreena. Really good indeed.
