Julie’s Challenge

Hey peeps!! I’m back for more updates!! *hints - Beautilicious*
*BEAUTILICIOUS - Official Make Up*
On Monday, the public, for the first time this season, has already seen the girls strutting their stuff at the runway in Mist Club. Voting has been done and decision has been made. Elimination took place on Tuesday and by now, you should have already know who’s the 9 that’s still left in the competition. If you don’t know, go watch the video NOW!!
Anyway, on Thursday, I had a session with the girls in Capxion studio. It was about 11.00am when I reached and when I saw the girls, they were still looking half awake. I seriously wonder what the girls do in the dream house that kept them so sleepy late in the morning. Jerad even said “You girls really know how to sleep. So late in the morning also still look so sleepy”. Anyway, the girls eventually forced their eyes and head up to start the “make up challenge session”.

Julie headed the session with a help of her assistant. She started off by explaining the importance of basic makeup for a model and the various style of making up for different functions. For this session, 3 different make up was taught and they were gothic and smokey style, glamourous style as well as retro. In this case, Beautilicious offers a ready pack to ease the make up process.
Ming, Dawn and Farah was called up for a demo for glamorous, retro and gothic makeups respectively.

During a short interval of the session, there rose an interesting conversation between the girls and this was their expressions. What so funny?? Ask me the next time you see me and I’ll tell you. Haha =D (something not to be shared publicly I thought)

After the 3 make up demos, it was time for lunch break and the girls made their order with Catherine, who was in charge taking care of them. When they come back later, there will be a challenge for the best make up and one worthy winner will walk away with RM1,000 worth of Beautilicious products.

After lunch, the girls had some additional time to rest themselves in the lounge and there I managed to catch up with them. Some was already home sick and a few more couldn’t wait to end the competition. It is only almost the beginning of their journey in becoming a model and yet they are already feeling the pinch. Well, I hope the girls can go through the rest of weeks with more enthusiasm and in high spirit!!
Just to keep them company, I found a guitar in the lounge and started playing some familiar songs and they sang along. My guitar skills was a little crappy but luckily it was enough to keep them entertained for a short while. Farah also played a little of the guitar while Denezia, Dawn, Pinky and Ming were busy camwhoring with my camera later on.
Times up!! Here comes the CHALLENGE!!

The girls got back up to the studio after a good long lunch break and it was time for the make up challenge. They were seperated into groups of 3 and each group has a different theme. Ming, Pinky and Denezia was given the task of Gothic make up while Juanita, Natasha and Shasya has to do glamourous make up. Farah, Dawn and Liana was retro.
Let the challenge BEGINS!!

They were given only 30 minutes to complete the entire make up and dressing. In order to win the challenge, an overall of hairdo, makeup and dressing with accessories will be taken into consideration. Julie was kind enough to give them an additional 10 minutes before they stood up one by one up close for Julie’s critics and valuable advice.

After looking through all the girls one by one, Julie had a word with Jerad before announcing the winner for the challenge. At that moment, I had a quick mug shot with the girls.
And the winner is….. *drum rolls* Liana with her retro make up!!

That’s all from me now!! Another 2 more hours before the chicken goes cuck-a-doo-dle-doo!! It’s time for me to catch some sleep. Will be looking forward to the next session with the girls and till then, continue to stay connected with the rest of us. Hope to bring you more juicy updates soon!!

I’m not a fan of Ming, neutral with her
but from Ming’s conversation with her father on the show, he seems like a really good guy la, telling her “its not so different to say sorry”, he instills the right kind of morals in his daughter, i was really impressed and it made me see her differently
Ming and her Dad are 100% different from Cindy and her father lah, its PLAIN obvious

well peachy, the handphone case is over. don’t have to bring it up again. at least, now they’ve learned their lessson!
as i mentioned before, this competition is quite unfair. Look at season 1. people vote them not because they are potential to be model BUT because they have relationship with them and also willing to spend hundreds of ringgit just to try to get them proceed to the next round.
in that case, if they wins because their family or friends vote for them, they are not malaysian’s dreamgirl afterall. they are families & friends dream girl. hahha.

LOL.. So much comments and conversation going on over.. I was a little lost until I read the whole things (@.@)
Well, i thought roynz does have a great point there though.. Well, really, if this reality show is being watched by millions of malaysian and if 10% of them vote then I don’t think family and friends can do much about unless they’re really really rich.. LOL =D
Anyway, let’s continue watching the dramas and what not and see what’s goign to happen next!! =D

nope. not an assumption.. Ming did brought her hp, but turn it to the producer when liana’s phone case busted at the salon (during their makeover). LOL! true story. go ask any of the girls, they all knows…
what annoyed me was how she hide the fact from viewers, and accused others so badly. as if they didnt do the same! perangai terkutuk betul!

did you know during the fights, both camps shouting to each other like kids, from one room to another. which explains why the girls rather to stay in their room than mingle in their hall. :) producer need to jaga periuk nasi MDG laa, not to show ‘too’ much, jaga reputation.. you think if there are always cameras switched on in the house, they will behave like kids ka? will gaduh2 ka? depan camera saja baik maaa.. malam kalu, camera crew sudah balik, all tanduk keluar la.
